The original LuxembourgCard was launched in 1998 and has existed in various forms since. The year 2021 marked the complete shift to a digital product. In 2025, to correspond to its digital evolution, we have adapted the name to LuxembourgPass. A change in name, but not in nature, as the pass continues to offer free and reduced access to multiple attractions and activities around the country.
The LuxembourgPass integrates many well-visited sites in addition to lesser-known tourist attractions and activities, and helps to disperse visitors around the country during all seasons and to encourage them to try different things.
Close to 4,700 passes were distributed in 2024. The most popular are the group cards valid for up to 5 people, with options to purchase for one, two or three days. Multi-day passes can be used over the course of 365 days from their first use, allowing for more flexibility to make the most of the discounts during longer stays.
Visitors can use the pass to visit over 80 attractions and activities ranging from bike rentals and winery tours to castle visits and museum entries. The top visited attractions in 2024 were Vianden Castle, Vianden chairlift, and the Bock Casemates.
